Please read these terms carefully before booking any services with Shamar Treks.

By accessing and using the services of Shamar Treks, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use our services.
Booking Confirmation
- All bookings are subject to availability
- Confirmation is sent within 24 hours of booking
- Full payment or deposit required to secure booking
- Prices are subject to change until booking is confirmed
Group Bookings
- Minimum group size requirements may apply
- Group discounts available for 6+ people
- Special terms may apply for large groups
Payment Schedule
- 25% deposit required at time of booking
- 75% balance due 45 days before departure
- Full payment required for bookings within 45 days
- Late payment fees may apply
Accepted Payment Methods
- Credit/Debit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express)
- Bank transfers
- PayPal
- Cash payments (in-person only)
Cancellation Fees
- More than 60 days: 10% of total cost
- 45-60 days: 25% of total cost
- 30-44 days: 50% of total cost
- 15-29 days: 75% of total cost
- Less than 15 days: 100% of total cost
Force Majeure
In case of natural disasters, political unrest, or other circumstances beyond our control, we will work with clients to reschedule or provide alternative arrangements. Refunds may be limited to recoverable costs.
Documentation
- Valid passport (minimum 6 months validity)
- Appropriate visas and permits
- Travel insurance (mandatory)
- Medical certificates if required
Health & Fitness
- Participants must be in good physical condition
- Medical clearance required for certain activities
- Age restrictions may apply
- Disclosure of medical conditions required
Company Liability
Shamar Treks acts as an agent for various service providers. Our liability is limited to:
- Services directly provided by us
- Maximum liability equal to the cost of services
- Exclusion of consequential damages
Travel Insurance
Comprehensive travel insurance is mandatory for all participants. Insurance should cover medical expenses, evacuation, trip cancellation, and personal belongings.
Any disputes arising from these terms or our services will be resolved through:
- Direct negotiation between parties
- Mediation if negotiation fails
- Arbitration under Nepal law
- Courts of Kathmandu, Nepal as final resort
