Booking Terms & Conditions

A deposit of 25% of the total package cost is required to confirm your booking

Full payment must be completed 30 days before departure date

We accept bank transfers, credit cards (Visa, MasterCard), PayPal, and cash payments

All prices are quoted in USD unless otherwise specified

Prices are subject to change until booking is confirmed with deposit

Additional charges may apply for single supplements, extra services, or equipment rental

Cancellations 60+ days before departure: Full refund minus 10% processing fee

Cancellations 30-59 days before departure: 50% refund of total package cost

Cancellations 15-29 days before departure: 25% refund of total package cost

Cancellations less than 15 days before departure: No refund

Emergency cancellations due to medical reasons may be considered case by case

Travel insurance is strongly recommended to cover cancellation costs

Group discounts apply for 6 or more participants

Group bookings require 50% deposit to confirm

Changes to group size may affect pricing and require re-confirmation

Individual participants can join existing group departures subject to availability

Private group arrangements can be made for any package

Changes to itinerary after booking may incur additional charges

International flights are not included unless specifically mentioned

Domestic flights in Nepal are subject to weather delays and cancellations

We include buffer days for weather-dependent flights like Lukla

Helicopter rescue insurance is mandatory for high-altitude treks

Airport transfers are included as specified in package details

Transportation delays due to weather, strikes, or road conditions are beyond our control

Comprehensive travel insurance is mandatory for all participants

Insurance must cover high-altitude trekking up to 6,000m

Medical evacuation and helicopter rescue coverage is required

Shamar Treks acts as an agent and is not liable for third-party services

Participants trek at their own risk and must be in good physical condition

We recommend consulting a physician before high-altitude activities

All participants must be at least 16 years old for high-altitude treks

Pregnant women and people with serious medical conditions should consult doctors

Permits and documentation are arranged by us but participants must provide required information

Weather conditions may require itinerary changes for safety reasons

Accommodation and meals are as specified but may vary due to local conditions

Tips for guides and porters are not included and are at participant's discretion
